AhlulBayt News Agency: The Library of Ilm-o-Danish has been consistently engaged in promoting Nahj al-Balagha for the past two years. A significant achievement in this regard is the publication and distribution of the beautifully designed and unique edition of Nahj al-Balagha prepared by Markaz Afkar Islami. Its dissemination across the country and abroad is a commendable service.
The first lecture of the series was delivered by Maulana Agha Munawwar Ali, an active member of the Tibyan Institute, in the Yaqutpura area of Hyderabad. In his introductory talk, he presented an overview of Nahj al-Balagha, highlighting the scholarly stature of Sayyid Razi and his remarkable contribution.
He referenced Sunni and Shia scholars who have praised the distinctiveness of the words of Imam Ali (A.S.) and emphasized that now, with the publication of this brilliant edition by the Library of Ilm-o-Danish, scholars, speakers, and poets should refrain from imaginary narratives and instead use the actual words of the Imam—richly present in Nahj al-Balagha—to propagate the virtues of Imam Ali (a.s.).
Imam Ali (A.S.) knew the paths of divine guidance better than worldly routes. In sermon 101 of Nahj al-Balagha, he says: “Our mission and identity are extremely difficult. Only those devout servants of Allah, whose hearts have been purified through divine trials, can understand it. Our words are preserved in the treasures of pure hearts. Ask whatever you wish before you lose me, for I know the paths of the heavens better than those of the earth.”
